Crazy Man Crazy hosts a variety show extravaganza!

On Saturday, May 1st, Crazy Man Crazy will host The Five Minute Follies, a fast-paced onstage tribute to the classic variety shows. The Five Minute Follies harkens back to the great days of television variety, paying homage to programs such as Ed Sullivan’s “Toast of the Town” and Ted Mack’s Original Amateur Hour. No act will be longer than 5 minutes and Crazy Man Crazy will link the show together with musical numbers.

The Five Minute Follies will be staged at Crazy Man Crazy’s home base in Philadelphia, The Rotunda at 4014 Walnut Street. Complete details are below.

PLEASE NOTE: We’re still looking for acts to fill out the evening. Singers, dancers, jugglers, comedians, and ALL kinds of variety acts are more than welcome. UNUSUAL ACTS ESPECIALLY SOUGHT.

Your act must be no longer than 5 minutes and it must be entertaining (funny, dramatic, touching, surprising, whatever). You must be able to get on and offstage quickly, no longer than 1 minute setup and 1 minute breakdown.
