Band
HISTORY
In December of 2008, after a long hiatus from music, Michael Subvert began searching for players to form a band based around blues, rockabilly, swing, and good old fashioned rock n’ roll. Old friends Julian Root (guitar) and Steve Sxaks (drums) were the first to join, in January of 2009. An inaugural practice on January 18th established the sound, a weird and wonderful mix of Julian’s blues riffs, Steve’s hardcore drums, and Michael’s slightly warped sensibilities. The very talented Brandon Porter (bass) showed up a little later, on February 1st, and completed the rhythm section. Things were kickin’ right along up until April, when Steve decided to move on to more hardcore pursuits, and the search for a new drummer began. On June 14th, 3 great drummers came in, and it was pure heck trying to choose just one. After an intense and nearly violent debate, a decision was reached, and Mr. Mark Alexander was welcomed into the band. Crazy Man Crazy was complete.
