Born and raised in Bethesda, MD, Mark eventually made his way to Center City Philadelphia, where he now resides.
Past Bands: Mardi Hub and the Sprockets, The Breakers, Big Pete Pearson and the Blue Sevilles, Surfer Ruth, Mr. Loud, The Bill Hanna Band, Southern Wind, Krakatao, University of Virginia Jazz Ensemble, University of Montana Jazz and Percussion Ensembles.

Influences: Johnny Smith, owner of Smith’s Drum Shop in Wheaton, MD. Johnny taught me how to play drums… I went to his shop every week beginning in 3rd grade (off and on) through high school. Leaders: Thomas Jefferson, Barack Obama. Design Period/Style: The Arts and Crafts Movement.
